The Two Johns are arguably diminutive & comfortable in the latest podcast. We are secure in the fact that smallness can hold largeness concurrently as we give an epilogue to the North American Handbuilt Bike Show in this latest podcast. We are motivated to talk about the upcoming Paris-Nice, recognize some of the events our US slanted attention kept us from covering (not the least being Moncoutie’s storming up Mt. Faron!) & the kick off to the Belgian race season. In local news we give our NAHBS impressions & best of show, and discuss the next time the pedals will be turned in anger. Listener feedback has some new guidelines, huge amounts require selection committee: this week its the top 20 that get read to do battle for the ultimate prize, a pair of special Slipstreams by Defeet. This week, G gets thanked & taken to task for his Lucky Charms Leprechaun impression, Alva talks gynaecologist turned training guru, picking up the ladies at Whole Foods & stretching the chain, what’s a good stem length? should I upgrade my groupo much more!
