Primitive Stencil Art
At the last podcast’s closing we received an email with the below image attached.
Here we see an early fan support of the Two Johns Podcast.
Much like the early (& some of the later podcasts), this example is quite primitive, low-fi/low gloss. While the fan’s Tour of California sign seen at this year’s tt was the most widely spotted Two Johns singage to date, the eagle eyed of you may have caught this in the spring 2007 coverage, if only for a moment.
The sign is amongst ‘Tyler’, ‘Levi’, the ubiquitos ‘See Rock City’ & some robot; rarified company indeed.
Maybe the rider has some level of respect for the robot, since he seems to be avoiding taking the inside line & rolling over his robot face?
A little ‘research’ (also known as typing things into google) came up with this link.
I am glad the robot isn’t so uptight that it too can enjoy a day at the race & still express its message.

I love it!
Since I live in GA and have so far only walked Brasstown Bald, I would love to hear either or both of the Johns tell about riding this mountian; what gears they used and how it compares with other similar climbs they may have done.
Thanks!

Ubiquitos are uneaten Fritos that you find all over your flat; in the couch, under the kitchen table, behind the toilet. They seem to be everywhere and provide a quick empty calorie snack.
You may feed yourself, but do not feed the Robot! He works for the man, and He will turn you into data without information; frito food without sustenance; latte without coffee grounds. Your soul will be a McCafe Latte. Are you sure your mind is not a Two Johns’ canvas, and that John and John are not painting you recycled, reused, redacted, racefaced redolence?
You can be sure, because the 2JP twittering podcast is the only last glimmer of sanity from a dark, starless, entropic universe.
I rode up it and the experience was awesome. I had my Bianchi with a triple and it was totally doable. I wouldn’t try it without one.
