Special Guest: Tyler Wren
It’s all change for the Two Johns these days- new blog layout, new guests, new season & new microphones. We get acquainted with the changes in the lastest podcast where we make our Tour of Califormia predictions, John G rocks up in the gym, John K gets the map out & prepares for warm weather ride, Interview with Tyler Wren & of course feedback with such luminaries as Scottish (off) Roadie, Sacramento Roadie, The Misplaced Pedaler & Short Hair Hippie – questions are asked, observations made & quack advice given. The chaser to this average length podcast is John G’s return of the rant.

Hey Johns, thought your listeners might enjoy this new podcast I’ve been working on. Its all training tips, education on your training plan, and skills classes for everything cycling. Not as entertaining as you guys, but a good source of information.

Great interview. I met Tyler while he was out here for the tour of Utah. Very nice guy and was disappointed when the interview didn’t happen. Was pleasantly surprised when it happened. Once again the Two Johns come through.

With all of this hwsnbn talk at least one positive thing has come out of it, his face / bike crucifiction pic is no longer plastered on those FRS energy drink ads.

The fastest way to get the new podcast is to subscribe to it at our iTunes page. I uploaded the new episode first thing Saturday morning and it appeared ready for download immediately for subscribers. It did not show up, and still doesn’t appear this morning, on our iTunes page. Hmmm….. I hear other podcasters are having similar troubles. I will re-ping the iTunes server this morning to see if that helps.

OK, no offense guys, but…idiots! The way to be able to watch Tour of California on Valentine’s Day is so simple! Just schedule your significant other to be doing something GREAT at that time, at your expense. A 1+ hour massage, preferably, would do it. A facial, mani., pedi., come on – anything spa related can fill hours. While at the hands of a good masseur, your lady could care less what you are doing. Good grief.

Man, it is okay John G. I don’t respect roadies either. Seriously, what makes me keep riding and racing my MTB is the relief I get from traffic. Out there in the woods it is just me and my bike and total freedom. If you actually TRIED riding off-road more often you would understand. Maybe hitting the trails some more will help you ride those sandpits in cyclocross with more ease…HA!
