Re: Fashion vs. style: I think that style has to do with intention…?

I am not sure it is a question of style and fashion, but more of attention to detail.

Tyler Hamilton was 29 minutes adrift on yesterday’s TDG stage. What is going on? Also read where George Hincapie thought the finish was uphill which is why he took the last corner in 3rd place. Were the riders provided a deceptive profile?

The finish into dahlonega is accurately described in the tech manual. Whoever let it though that last sweeper at 150m was going to win. There was not movement in the top 5 from the last corner. The look on Richard England’s face coming though that last corner was priceless. It was an awesome win for bissell.

Leipheimer clearly wasn’t good enough on Brasstown Bald. What isn’t clear in the race reports is whether Trent Lowe made a tactical mistake by not following Sivtsov or he couldn’t. What is the word on the scene?

The quick answer is confusion. TSL thought they’d won it. The team was high-fives all around. Riders were crossing the line congratulating Trent Lowe. Sivtsov even seemed a bit confused. He took the time in the final 50 meters to sit up, zip the jeresey, adjust the glasses and cross the line with a victory point to his chest. I can’t image he would have done that if he knew how close it really was. As to the why it happened and who knew what… we will expound on what I saw and heard on the next podcast.

Sorry, no it isn’t.
