9 days of racing and training in Arizona, late night plane travel, then a race the morning after I returned all conspired against me. I am sick. Sinus infection plus walking pneumonia. Oh well, looks like a few weeks of rest for me.The good news is that Mrs. John G. is a good woman. She takes care of me. She listens to me complain about how lousy I feel. She buys me frozen pizza. She is sympathetic. She lets me sleep in. She is a good woman. She even washes bikes! Check out the technique. I thinks she is ready for the CX pits.

I just got over a cold then a sinus infection and 2 weeks later I got on the bike and 60 miles later my legs are jelly and my first race is next week ouch.

Have you run this medication by WADA? You may have jeopardized the season. Did Jeff approve this medication? This could bring the Bank down!
I like British David’s suggestion. It worked for Floyd. I find that several shops of top shelf tequila (Patron) work equally as well as antibiotics.

I think you need to clarify that this good woman is washing her own bike and those of her good children. I’m not so sure John would allow her to perform ablutions on his bike. I know desert dog wouldn’t let me! (But let’s be honest, nor would I offer.)

Hey, you (and your wife) should know better than to spray water like that on bike parts!! And with a power washer no less! What’s that water going to do to the bearings in the hubs, bottom bracket, head set, etc.??
