2/26/08 Podcast

new podcast 2 Comments »

There is nothing finer than this sweet Huffy Aerowind circa 1985, except maybe the new podcast. Sit back and and listen to us do a quick ToC review then crunch through 15 emails - many of which take me to task for all sorts of things.

Thanks, as always, goes to to DeFeet for their contribution to the Listener Feedback of the Week award. This week it goes across the pond.

Fair warning…

We are recording a podcast tonight that will consist of a little Tour of Cali’ talk, but mostly emails. 22 emails to be exact, and some of them correcting all sorts of things that I said during the last podcast.

While doing some rebuttal research (Charly Mottet did in fact wear Rudy Projects, thank you very much and see the picture below),

I ran across this picture series of Marc and Yvon Madiot. Wow! Looks like they are certainly ready for the 2 Johns Crunch-off ‘08!

Here is a 12 minute interview with Kevin Livingston, former pro with Saturn, Confidis, USPS, and Telecom. He’s the Competition Coordinator for the 2008 Amgen Tour of California. We catch up with him on the road during stage 3 from Seaside to San Luis Obispo.

Made it to the tour again today. Tried to make it to the the observatory butdid not make the road closure. Ended up on the down hill side of the first KOMpoint right before the feed zone. Wasn’t raining but no sun and it was cold.It was interesting because it appeared that the 3 banned riders from Rock Racingcame through ahead of the main group as well as several SD riders. Here aresome more pics. One of the first break away in the mountains, main peloton andthe last riders bringing up the rear. Sorry no specialized angel. Last timeI’ll be able to report from here because I have to get back home.
