FYI - I’m having trouble loading the new podcast. Previous podcasts still load okay so I don’t think it’s my computer.

Cincy John - Didn’t Steve Chambers (Stefan Chambere) always wear a Coors Light thermal jersey that he wore throughout the Indiana summer? Looked good on him, but didn’t smell so hot if I remember correctly (and I believe that I do) . . . and, if you enjoyed Zen & Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, read the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Similar to making it through the first 10 minutes of the TJP, you need to make it through the first 100 pages . . . but it is worth it.

How about The Fountainhead movie? Has one of the best scenes where Domique dreams of Howard working in the quarry and his drill. Heavy handedness at its best! I am a big fan of both the books. JK- in NC

I realize we are having iTunes download problems. I’ll fix it tomorrow. You can still listen to the podcast here on the blog.

Rasta,
Having completed a 320km race this past summer I say go for it. It’s extremely satisfying to see exactly what you are physically capable of. The best is when you tell people exactly how long you rode for, see their expression and hear them say “I wouldn’t do that in a car.”
PS Johns keep up the good work. Enjoy the new tight format. Quality.

The iTunes feed works now, I promise. If you tried to download before and it crapped out, delete that file, then hit refresh. The new episode will begin to download.

Come now, you must’ve read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It’s good but a bit long and theatrical which may have something to do with being written in the 30s.
Better get to the library. I re-read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance cause of you guys. Actually I cheated and listened to the Audio-book but that counts, right?
