Sorry Millar… no prologue for ‘08. They do, however, have a stage finish at the Hautacam ski station. The acutual name of the mountain? Anyone… Col du Tremassel (sp?). It’s an up only, deadender, and super hard at the beginning. Last time I went up, and then down, I almost stacked it into a herd of cows who emerged from the fog.

Book your rooms in Lourdes now. I recommend the de la Grotte or the Imperial. Nightly candlelight processions to the Cathedral, bike path just out of town leading to the base of the Hautacam, a few good discos, and awesome pizza. It’s like the Las Vegas/Disney Land for Catholics.
